The
Hong Kong Pavilion
The
Innovation and Technology Commission of the Government of the HKSAR,
the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Hong Kong Trade
Development Council (HKTDC) will jointly organize the Hong Kong
Pavilion at CHTF 2007. The Hong Kong Pavilion serves as a platform
for showcasing the latest innovative and technological capabilities
and achievements of Hong Kong to the world. It also provides an
opportunity for local, Mainland and overseas enterprises to exchange
technological information and explore business cooperation possibilities.

This
year, the Hong Kong Pavilion will occupy an area of approximately
500m2. The Pavilion will be divided into three zones to showcase
Hong Kong's strengths in innovation and technology - |

- Hong
Kong R&D Centres: newly launched in April 2006,
the five R&D Centres on automotive parts and accessory
systems, information and communications technologies, logistics
and supply chain management enabling technologies, nanotechnology
and advanced materials, and textile and clothing; together
with the Hong Kong Jockey Club Institute of Chinese Medicine
Limited, will showcase their research expertise and the
one-stop services they provide to facilitate technology
transfer and commercialization.
- Hong
Kong - City of Innovations: hi-tech organizations and
companies from different industries in Hong Kong will showcase
their technological products and services demonstrating
Hong Kong as the City of Innovations.
- Hong
Kong - the Gateway to the World:

HKPC’s industry-support services in manufacturing technology, information technology, environmental technology and management systems will be on display. |

Various
services provided by HKTDC including business matching,
sourcing, trade fairs, etc. to facilitate two-way
flow of technology between the Mainland and overseas
through Hong Kong will be featured. |
