Hong Kong has developed into a service-oriented economy and the services sector is driving economic growth. There is a need to raise public awareness of the contribution of the services sector to Hong Kong and its outstanding achievements.

The HONG KONG AWARDS for SERVICES is established with a view to recognize outstanding companies for their contributions towards enhancing the competitiveness of Hong Kong's service sector.
