Award Schemes
As an industry support organization, HKPC is involved in various initiatives to promote productivity and business excellence, and is actively engaged in the co-ordination and implementation of Award schemes both in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta (PRD) to promote and recognize productivity excellence among local industrialists.
Award Schemes:  
Hong Kong Awards for Industries Officially incepted in 2005, the Hong Kong Awards for Industries aim to recognize and encourage excellence as well as promote successful practices and strategies in different aspects of industrial performance.
Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence The Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) is a successful merger of various government-initiated environmental schemes, namely the Hong Kong Eco-Business Awards, the Wastewi$e Scheme and the Hong Kong Energy Efficiency Awards. By merging and extending these schemes, the HKAEE serves as a prestigious scheme for the wider business community. The HKAEE aims to encourage businesses and organizations to adopt green management, and to present participants with an opportunity to benchmark and recognize their commitment to environmental protection.
SME Customer Service Excellence Award Established in 2002, the SME Customer Service Excellence Award aims to recognizes outstanding customer service provided by local SMEs and identifies role models for local industry.
Innovation-Knowledge Enterprise Award Established in 2004, the Innovation-Knowledge Enterprise Award aims to increase the IP management capability of Hong Kong and Mainland enterprises.
Call Centre Award  Launched in 1989, the Call Centre Award aims to recognize individuals and businesses that deliver outstanding levels of customer service through call centre operations.
Hong Kong Wireless Technology Excellence Awards Launched in April 2005, the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Excellence Awards aim to promote and encourage the development and use of mobile and wireless technologies in local industries, as well as to recognize outstanding and innovative wireless applications in Hong Kong.
Linux Business Award 2005 The Linux Business Award aims to encourage the deployment of IT applications on Linux platforms in order to improve business productivity, and to recognize business excellence in this field.
Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 Launched in 1995, the Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year Award aims to encourage and recognize the efforts of local young, innovative entrepreneurs and their contributions to industry and society.
Industrialist of the Year Award This award was established in 2002 with an aim to honour an outstanding industrialist who has made significant contributions to both industry and the Hong Kong community.
Young Industrialist Awards of Hongkong The Federation of Hong Kong Industries has been organizing the annual Young Industrialist Awards of Hongkong since 1988. The aim of the Awards is to honour outstanding industrialists for their achievements and commitment to manufacturing industry and to encourage them to further contribute their expertise to the territory's economic development.
The Best Brand Enterprise Award 2007 (Greater China) The Best Brand Enterprise Award 2007 aims to recognize outstanding achievements of enterprises in the Greater China region (including the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) in brand building and management, setting benchmarks for other industry players in their pursuit of brand excellence.
The Hong Kong ICT Awards The Hong Kong ICT Awards Scheme aims to recognize, promote and commend the achievements of Hong Kong ICT professionals. The Awards Scheme also encourages local practitioners to develop innovative and creative ICT solutions, which will uplift the image of Hong Kong ICT sectors, both locally and internationally.
2nd Hong Kong Energy Efficiency Awards Hong Kong Energy Efficiency Awards aims to promote best practices, recognise efforts and honour successes in energy efficiency and conservation for organisations and the public in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Awards for Industry
Introduction:
The Hong Kong Awards for Industries was officially incepted in 2005 by merging the Hong Kong Awards for Industry and the Hong Kong Awards for Services to rationalise and broaden the scope of existing awards. The merged Awards Scheme continues to recognise the outstanding achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in their move towards higher technology and higher value-added activities.  Overall coordination is provided by the Organising Committee of the Hong Kong Awards for Industries. This Committee is chaired by the Director-General of Trade and Industry with membership being drawn from industrial support organisations in Hong Kong. The Awards Scheme comprises seven categories including Consumer Product Design, Machinery and Equipment Design, Customer Service, Environmental Performance, Innovation and Creativity, Productivity and Quality, as well as Technological Achievement.

Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence
Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence
Introduction:
The Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) is a successful merger of various government-initiated environmental schemes, namely the Hong Kong Eco-Business Awards, the Wastewi$e Scheme and the Hong Kong Energy Efficiency Awards. By merging and extending these schemes, the HKAEE serves as a prestigious scheme to the wider business community. The HKAEE aims to encourage businesses and organizations to adopt green management, and to present participants with an opportunity to benchmark and recognize their commitment to environmental protection. The HKAEE will provide two levels of recognition, namely the ‘Environmental Labels’ and the ‘Sectoral Awards’. There are four Environmental Labels, namely Wastewi$e, Energywi$e, Indoor Air Quality and Eco-Product. These Labels are designed to encourage, benchmark and recognize businesses’ and organization’s continuous efforts in waste reduction, energy saving, indoor air quality improvement and eco-product design respectively. The Sectoral Awards will be granted to those organizations which have demonstrated all-round and outstanding environmental performance in an annual competition within designated sectors. The assessment criteria basically include ‘Green Leadership’, ‘Programme and Performance’ and ‘Partner Synergy’. Participants may choose to compete for the Sectoral Awards within one of the following seven sectors: Construction Industry; Financial Institutions; Hotels, Restaurants and Catering Companies; Property Management; Retailers; Transport and Logistics; and Public Sector and NGOs.

SME Customer Service Excellence Award
Introduction:
Established in 2002, the SME Customer Service Excellence Award aims to recognize outstanding customer service provided by local SMEs and their staff, as well to identify models of good customer service for contributing towards Hong Kong's continued growth and competitiveness.

Innovation-Knowledge Enterprise Award
Innovation-Knowledge Enterprises Assessment Award
Introduction:
The Innovation-Knowledge Enterprise Award, established in 2004, aims to increase the IP management capability of Hong Kong and Mainland enterprises in meeting the challenge arising from the current economic upsurge in the Pearl River Delta Region, by upgrading themselves from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) and Original Brand Manufacturer (OBM).

Introduction:
The Best Brand Enterprise Award 2007 (Greater China) aims to recognize outstanding achievements of enterprises in the Greater China region (including the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) in brand building and management, setting benchmarks for other industry players in their pursuit of brand excellence. Entries of The Best Brand Enterprise Award will be judged according to five criteria, including organizational growth and self development, corporate strategy and management decision making system, leadership and corporate culture, corporate innovation management as well as corporate brand building and management.

Introduction:

The Hong Kong ICT Awards Scheme aims to recognize, promote and commend the achievements of Hong Kong ICT professionals. The Awards Scheme also encourages local practitioners to develop innovative and creative ICT solutions, which will uplift the image of Hong Kong ICT sectors, both locally and internationally.

The Hong Kong ICT Awards Scheme is supported by the Hong Kong SAR Government with the Government Chief Information Officer as the chairman of the Organizing Committee. The Award comprises seven categories, including Digital Entertainment; Digital Inclusion; eBusiness; eGovernment; eLearning; eYouth and Wireless Technology. There will be one Grand Award in each category and an "Award of the Year" will be selected among the seven Grand Award Winners.
