Event Highlights:

Open Source Software (OSS) market takes off rapidly.  China OSS market, especially GuangDong Province, has huge potential.  It brings Hong Kong's independent software vendor (ISV) a lot of business opportunities.  Therefore, this training introduces how to port existing solution on non-OSS platform to OSS/Linux.  In this 4-day training, students will equip with the fundamental techniques on OSS porting.  Key topics include:

  • Guangdong Provincial Plan for the Promotion and Certification of Linux Software
  • Porting C/C++ program to Linux
  • Porting to J2EE and LAMP architecture
  • Open Source Foundation Software Porting
Trainer Profile﹕

Assigned from GuangDong Linux Center (GDLC), all trainers are senior engineers with RedHat certification (RHCE).

  • Trainers have years of solid practical experience on OSS/Linux. They had conducted many trainings for various professionals on design and implementations on different Linux platforms.
  • They had led development team to successfully design and develop several application systems on Linux. They had also participated repeatedly in the software migration design planning and entire implementation process of China's renowned telecommunication equipment manufacturers.
