Spectacle Frame Product Testing for a Local Spectacle Frame Manufacturer |

To comply with the newly imposed requirements of the EC Directive EEC 93/42, a local spectacle frame company has to send their spectacle frames to external or in-house laboratories for testing and product certification. |
|
|
|
Tests for spectacle frame products in compliance with international standards ISO 12870:1997, EN 1811:1999, EN 12472: 1999, and ENV 14027:2001 include:
- Dimensional tolerance test;
- Bridge deformation test;
- Lens retention test;
- Endurance test;
- Test for resistance to perspiration; and
- Nickel release content test.

A test report on spectacle frame product testing in compliance with international standards was provided. |

|
The fully compliant test report assisted the local spectacle frame manufacturer to obtain product certification in line with the stringent requirements of the EC Directive EEC 93/42. |
