Opening Ceremony of Asia's 1st ACM SIGGRAPH Traveling Art Show in Hong Kong

 

 

 

An exhibit from the Traveling Art Show

Event Highlights:
The Hong Kong Professional Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics (SIGGRAPH) hosted the 1st ACM SIGGRAPH Traveling Art Show (TAS) in Asia at various locations in Hong Kong from 2 June to 31 July 2007.
Featuring highlights of the computer graphic (CG) artworks displayed at the SIGGRAPH Annual Conference in the USA, the TAS presented over 50 works by 22 CG artists. The event is one of the programmes of the CG Mission Project to promote the development of the digital illustration and visual arts industry in Hong Kong. The Project is funded by the Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau of the HKSAR Government, with the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) as the implementation organization.

- Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi) (22 - 28 June 2007)
