Mr Henry Chang, Head of Information and Communications Technologies, OFTA, introduces the legislative proposal to contain the problem of unsolicited electronic messages

Event Highlights:
HKPC, Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team (HKCERT), and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) of the HKSAR Government, jointly organized the Anti-Spam Seminar on 14 June 2006 to assist local companies and the general public to fight spam.
More than 300 participants attended the event to obtain the latest information on tackling spamming.
The Seminar explored the Government's initiatives to contain the problem of unsolicited electronic messages, the technologies and best practices to safeguard message hygiene, as well as the legitimate approaches to e-marketing.
