Event Highlights:
With the support of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government, TURN, the acronym for 'Transform, Upgrade and Relocate for a New horizon', a HKPC's new initiative for industry, was launched on 12 June 2008 by HKPC and strategic partners from more than 100 industry support organizations, trade associations, financial and technology institutions.
By leveraging on the expertise of HKPC and its strategic partners, TURN provides a one-stop platform with a wide spectrum of services to assist local manufacturers in the process of industrial upgrading, business transformation or relocating their operations.
Under the TURN programme, 42 on-site assessment projects will be conducted with recommendations on business process or technology improvement for the participating companies. Forty seminars and study missions will also be organized to update manufacturers on the latest Mainland policies, TURN opportunities and success stories. Furthermore, a support centre in Shenzhen and a website (www.hkpc.org/turn) have been established to provide information on TURN's new services.
