HKCERT

In response to the need to cope with security threats, the Innovation and Technology Fund of the HKSAR government provided HKPC with funding support to establish the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) in 2001. The Centre aims to provide a centralized contact for local enterprises and Internet users in case of computer/network security incidents. It coordinates response and recovery actions for reported incidents, monitors and disseminates information on security related issues, and provides advice on preventive measures against security threats, as well as offers seminars and training courses on information security topics.
