The Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT)
had issued an alert on a critical security vulnerability "Apple Mac OS X Multiple Vulnerabilities"
today (17 September 2008). Companies and individuals should install the latest security
patch for their Apple Products.
This security alert applies to
- Apple Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and prior
- Apple Mac OS X Server version 10.4.11 and prior
- Apple Mac OS X versions 10.5 through 10.5.4
- Apple Mac OS X Server versions 10.5 through 10.5.4
An attacker could exploit the vulnerabilities may be available to
remote execution of arbitrary code, denial of service,
bypass security restrictions or disclose sensitive information.
