The recent spate of incidents of personal information leakage has raised public concerns about data privacy, especially on the risks associated with storing data on the computer.

These risks will be explained in an article of the May 2008 edition of the “HKCERT Security Bulletin”. It will also offer tips on measures to mitigate the risks and protection tools which are free of charge and commonly used by computer users.
