Lean Manufacturing is definitely a way out in today's increasingly competitive market characterized by the survival of only the fittest. Derived from the Toyota Production System, Lean Manufacturing is an approach to minimize waste, thereby helping enterprises improve material handling, inventory, scheduling, quality of products and services, and customer satisfaction. It enables companies to optimize the use of time, human resources and assets while enhancing their productivity.
