As a prerequisite for trading activities on the Mainland, the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is required of over 100 product categories, including certain electrical and electronic items. To help enterprises get a better grasp of the requirements, criteria and regulations relating to the Certification scheme, HKPC organized the “China Compulsory Certification Information Dissemination Seminar” on 12 June 2006 with sponsorship from the Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau (CITB) of the HKSAR Government. Major presentations included a speech on “Experience Sharing of CCC Study Mission to Beijing” by Mr Ivan Yip, Consultant, Electronic Product Innovation Division, HKPC.
