The demand for miniaturized products, especially in mobile and biomedical devices, continues to drive the development of electronic products and manufacturing methods. By using Micro-Rapid Prototyping (Micro-RP) technology, the resolution of the manufactured parts can be scaled down to 10 micron or even smaller.

In 2006, HKPC became the first organization in Asia to develop micro-rapid prototyping to support the design and prototyping of miniaturized products for industrial applications.
