HKPC has successfully produced a non-silicon micro pump and a range of cost-effective optics components for the local manufacturing industry using the latest micro-fabrication technologies. More industry sectors are now adopting the use of non-silicon materials, such as polymer, for micro electrical and mechanical systems (MEMS), due to the new materials' value-adding benefits which include low-cost and high-volume fabrication.
Using HKPC's latest developments in micro fabrication, manufacturers can now consider a host of new manufacturing opportunities applicable for a wide range of industries including telecommunications, photonics and medical devices.
