Mr Wilson Fung, Executive Director of Hong Kong Productivity Council spoke at the opening ceremony of the Information Security Summit 2007. Event Highlights:
Companies risked losing millions to cyber attacks by not applying good practices and international standards in data security, according to experts addressing the “Information Security Summit 2007” jointly hosted by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and seven information security bodies on 5 December 2007.
A highlight of the Summit was the keynote address on cybersecurity for the Beijing Olympic Games by Dr Du Yuejin, Deputy Chief Technical Officer of the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China.
Other speakers included industry experts from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Mainland and the United States.
