To facilitate collaboration among local and Mainland trade organizations and industry partners, The Centrepoint, a multi-purpose facility located at the HKPC Building, was launched on 25 January 2008
Occupying an area of 290m2, The Centrepoint is complete with over 20 multi-media booths for Centrepoint members to promote their missions and activities; a coffee and business lounge; cyber kiosks equipped with Wi-Fi enabled and Internet facility, real time news and international finance information broadcast; and the Atrium – a cosy venue for seminars.
Events such as business matching sessions, seminars and visits will also be organized at The Centrepoint to create opportunities for business networking.
As an inaugural event under The Centrepoint, the Hong Kong Far Infrared Rays Association (HKFIRA) hosted the Networking Programme on Far Infrared Rays (FIR) Technology with a seminar on the industrial application of the technology and business opportunities for local manufacturers.
