Partnership Objective:
To assist the local plastic machinery industry develop the micro-injection moulding technology for exploring new business opportunities
Nature of Partnership:
HKPC is the implementation agent responsible for carrying out development activities under the ITF funded project "Development of Micro-injection Moulding and Machinery Technologies", with the Hong Kong Plastic Machinery Association (HKPMA) as the project applicant.

Details on the partnership:
As part of the ITF funded project on "Development of Micro-injection Moulding and Machinery Technologies", a machine prototype will be designed and developed by HKPC. Five sponsor companies, L.K. Machinery Co., Ltd., Po Yuen (To's) Machine Factory Ltd., Welltec Machinery Co., Ltd., Yan Hing Engineering Works Ltd. and Rockwell Automation Asia Pacific Limited will involve in the manufacturing of the machine prototype.
By evaluating the machine prototype, local industry can acquire the latest moulding technology and know-how on micro-injection moulding machinery. Training workshops, seminars and technical consultancy services will also be provided to introduce and transfer the applications and techniques of adopting micro-injection moulding technology to local plastics product manufacturers.
