Nature of Partnership:

HKPC and Hong Kong Mould and Die Council (HKMDC) co-organized the "K'Fair Study Mission on Advanced Plastics, Mould and Machinery Technologies to Germany, Switzerland and Italy". HKPC implemented and provided logistics support for the programme with the endorsement of HKMDC.

Details on the partnership:

HKPC and HKMDC jointly organized the event for members from the local plastic product manufacturing, mould making and machinery building industries. Through the K'2004 Fair, one of the world's largest and leading international exhibitions on plastics, rubber and related technologies, the latest technologies on plastic machinery and auxiliaries, plastic materials, mould, instrumentation and process control equipment, CAD/CAM/CAE/CIM systems, automation systems, packaging systems and new plastic products were introduced.

Visits to European factories, including plastic product manufacturers, mould makers and auxiliary machinery builders were also arranged, providing a communication channel for participants to explore opportunities for technology cooperation with European manufacturers.
