Hong Kong Productivity Council Inventions Received International Recognition Again - Win 12 awards at the “47th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva”

(Hong Kong, 12 April, 2019) Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) has once again participated in the “47th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva” held in Switzerland with Hong Kong home-grown inventions. Among all, HKPC has won 12 awards, including one Gold Medal with Congratulations of Jury, three Gold Medals, six Silver Medals and two Bronze Medals. Such proud achievement proves the success of HKPC’s applied R&D solutions at an international level. Moving forward, HKPC will continue to serve local SMEs and the general public with best applied R&D innovations.

Robot System for Placement and Collection of Traffic Cones and Lanterns in Road Works (RoadBot 1) proudly received the Honorable Mention Prize of the Chinese Delegation for Invention and Innovation; and the Gold Medal with the Congratulations of the Jury.

Mr Willy Lin, Chairman of HKPC, said, “Driving Innovation and applied R&D have always been the priority at HKPC. We are pleased that our innovations have once again achieved international accolade and garnered awards at the ‘International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva’.
