  • Use of Robot and Automation technology to reduce the labor consumption of food processing in the factory located at Tai Po Industrial Estate

  • Due to Shortage of labor, it is difficult to extend their business into mass production of commercial food products

  • Design the first smartified Cantonese cuisine production line by various automation technologies and Industry 4.0 foundation.  The smart technologies used in the project includes:

    3. Real-time Data Acquisition (Production data, machines data, quality data and energy data
    4. Human-Machine Interface (HMI)

  • Developed a smart manufacturing system to visualise key parameters (e.g. food temperature) for Cantonese cuisine, to achieve real time process monitoring for quality and efficiency enhancement
  • Developed a smart manufacturing system for different cooking styles of Cantonese cuisine
  • Smart Automation to reduce the labor consumption, sustainable food quality and flexible to manage various cooking methods
