Vision-based Advanced Driver Assistance System (VADAS)

Many traffic accidents are caused by following too close to the vehicle in front or encountering obstacles, leaving little time to avoid collision. VADAS can provide timely alerts to drivers, by using vision processing technology to transmit images to an embedded processor via a digital interface. VADAS can detect potential threats from rear lanes and ahead, and calculate the distance in between. If a vehicle deviates from the driving lane or follows too close to the vehicle in front, VADAS will alert the driver, and thus improve road safety.
