Hong Kong Industrial Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Centre (FLAIR)
HKPC established the Hong Kong Industrial Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Centre (FLAIR) to focus on the research and development (R&D) of industrial AI and Robotics as well as the technology transformation, promoting new industrialisation and developing Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology centre. Located at the Hong Kong Science Park, FLAIR is under AIR@InnoHK, which is one of the two world-class research clusters being established by InnoHK programme of the HKSAR Government.
FLAIR aims to
- engender synergy and achieve a clustering effect by enhancing the collaborations with top-notch local, Mainland and overseas research institutions in R&D;
- actively approach industries for consultation and solicit their involvement in FLAIR’s work;
- ensure its industry orientation in addressing major R&D problems encountered by the industries in AI adoption.
