Response of the Hong Kong Productivity Council to the Director of Audit's Report No. 73

(Hong Kong, 27 November 2019) The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) welcomes the value for money audit report issued by the Audit Commission today (27 November 2019) on the Council's management and operation.

HKPC Council Chairman Mr Willy Lin said, “HKPC thanks the Audit Commission for compiling many useful recommendations for HKPC in the audit reports. These recommendations provide good guidance for the on-going transformation of HKPC at present and for the years to come. We have already implemented some of the recommendations, and are fully committed to executing all the other recommendations in an earliest possible timeframe to further enhance our operation systems.”

HKPC, as a statutory body in serving the industry (including SMEs and startups) in Hong Kong, has been proactive in bringing improvements to corporate governance with aims to facilitate the development of advanced manufacturing, smart living and reindustrialisation leveraging industry 4.0 and enterprise 4.0 via applied innovative technologies.
