The Hong Kong Observatory has announced that the Typhoon Signal No.8 will be issued at 21:20 on September 7 and will remain in effect at least until 11:00 on September 8. Events originally scheduled to take place at the HKPC Building on Monday, September 8 will be postponed or cancelled.
