Proximity Sensing Device for Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP)

In recent years, accidents involving Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP), particularly scissor lifts, have raised significant safety concerns in confined environments such as aircraft hangars, industrial facilities, and construction sites.
To address these risks and support compliance with the Hong Kong Labour Department’s revised “Guidance Notes on Safe Use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP)”, HKPC have developed an advanced Proximity Sensing Device, to support the safety requirements outlined in the Labour Department guidance, including:
