Extended Reality (XR) technology and consultancy service
XR encapsulates Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). Through XR technology, users can generate factory layouts quickly, create actual-scale machine models in a virtual environment, detect the surrounding environment automatically (with an accuracy of less than 5cm), and perform collision testing of the machine model and the actual environment. The XR application solution developed by HKPC enables interaction between virtual machines and the real environment as well as digital twin scene creation. Users no longer need to bring machines to the site for testing. The approach saves time and costs, while providing a more realistic experience. It replaces the traditional approach of creating time-consuming and expensive physical models for factory design, which improves the accuracy and efficiency of factory layout planning and operation, also enhances worker safety and productivity.
