Hong Kong Joint Research Lab for Applications of Intelligent Automation Technology
Hong Kong Joint Research Lab for Applications of Intelligent Automation Technology (The Joint Research Lab) was jointly established by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the Department of Automation of Tsinghua University, and the Research Institute of Tsinghua, Pearl River Delta. Based on the three parties’ complementary advantages in technology research and development (R&D) and practical applications of scientific and technological research outcomes, the Joint Research Lab will carry out collaboration in technology R&D projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, special robots, big data analysis and application, smart manufacturing, to meet Hong Kong enterprises’ practical needs and strengthen their competitiveness, promote the development of emerging industries, realise new industrialisation, and proactively foster cooperation and development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
