260K+ Hits on HKPC “Foresight 2021” Virtual Forum - Forging ahead with SMEs to Unlock New Technology Era

(Hong Kong, 2 December 2020) Organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), the large-scale “Foresight 2021” virtual forum drew to a successful close on 27 November. This 5-day spotlight event covered a wide spectrum of topics from Regionalisation, Service go Virtual, Connected & Contactless, Agile Workforce – Anywhere, Anytime to Sustainability, with 260K+ hits on the website. The overwhelming response indicated that SMEs are proactively exploring new business models and development potentials under the new normal, leveraging new technologies to drive new economy.

Mr Mohamed Butt, Executive Director of HKPC said, “Against the backdrop of post-epidemic new normal, enterprises need to adapt to and widen their search for new operation models, also unleashing new business opportunities. Likewise, HKPC will not stand down from forging ahead with SMEs, offering them multipronged services and activities to unlock the new technology era and shape a new economy,” he added.      

More than 50 local business leaders, experts and academics joined forces to support “Foresight 2021”, diving deep into the future trend of transformation, technology and new economic development in 2021. Nearly 70 enterprises, industry associations and public organisations also rendered vigorous sponsorship and support to the event.
