Temporary Postponement or Cancellation of Inno Space, HKPC Academy, Visitor and Training Programmes from Tomorrow to Tie in with the Latest Response Level under the HKSAR Government’s "Preparedness and Response Plan for Novel Infectious Disease of Publi

(Hong Kong, 28 January 2020) To tie in with the response level under the HKSAR Government’s "Preparedness and Response Plan for Novel Infectious Disease of Public Health Significance" being raised to Emergency Response Level and reduce the risk of spreading the novel coronavirus in the community, the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) today (28 January 2020) announced that services at Inno Space and HKPC Academy will be suspended from tomorrow (29 January 2020) and all training and visitor programmes held at HKPC will be cancelled or postponed tentatively until 17 February 2020. Arrangements of other activities (e.g. study missions or seminars) will be announced through HKPC’s website (www.hkpc.org) and social media platforms.

Also, HKPC will implement special work arrangement after the Lunar New Year holidays (starting from 29 January 2020). Operations at the HKPC Building will remain minimal and all HKPC staff, except those with critical functions only, are not required to return to the offices and but to work at home after the holidays. The measure will be implemented tentatively until 2 February 2020.
