HKPC and CHKCI Launch Inaugural “AI and Digital Transformation Zone” at HKCCF 2026 to Accelerate AI Adopting and Business Growth “AI with HKPC Business Empowerment” pavilion brings together nearly 30 exhibitors and over 20 seminars and workshops

(Hong Kong, 13 August 2026) With artificial intelligence (AI) rapidly reshaping business models and industry ecosystems, the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is partnering for the first time with the Chamber of Hong Kong Computer Industry (CHKCI) to co-organise the “AI & Digital Transformation Zone” at the Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2026 (HKCCF) from 21 to 24 August at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Location: Hall 1C).

The zone will focus on practical AI applications, intelligent business operations and digital transformation solutions. Through technology showcases, expert sharing sessions and interactive experiences, it aims to equip SMEs and working professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to apply AI in practice, helping them translate innovation and technology into tangible productivity, accelerate digital transformation, and strengthen their competitiveness.

Dr Lawrence CHEUNG, Chief Technology Officer of HKPC, said, “Hong Kong is at a critical stage of accelerating AI adoption. The key to turning AI into new productive forces lies in helping enterprises integrate AI into daily operations and convert it into concrete outcomes that raise efficiency, enable service innovation and drive business growth. This has long been a core role of HKPC. In alignment with the HKSAR Government’s ‘AI+’ strategy, HKPC is committed to promoting the practical AI adoption across enterprises and the wider community. We look forward to the ‘AI and Digital Transformation Zone’ further guiding businesses towards digital transformation.”

Within the Zone, HKPC will set up a dedicated “AI with HKPC Business Empowerment” Pavilion. Through practical AI tools, hands-on experiences and professional guidance, it will help SMEs and the public put AI to work, boosting operational efficiency and individual competitiveness. The area centres on two themes:

  1. “Reinventing Professional Services”:Demonstrating how AI is transforming workflows in banking and finance, legal, accounting and other professional services, enabling the industry to understand concrete applications that improve efficiency and create new service models.
  2. “Business Empowerment”:Providing SMEs with easy-to-use AI tools, workshops and professional consultation.

Highlights of the “AI with HKPC Business Empowerment” Pavilion:

  • Bringing together nearly 30 InnoPreneur Network (IPN) partner companies and “vClinic Doctors” to support precise AI adoption in areas such as cyber security, online legal arbitration, omnichannel AI chatbots and business messaging solutions, helping enterprises tackle real challenges during digital transformation.
  • Hosting more than 20 AI forums, sharing sessions and workshops. A series of workshops under the theme “AI for a New Lifestyle: From Creation to Decision-making” will cover practical topics including enterprise transformation, personal productivity, content creation and anti-scam techniques. Some workshops will be recorded and later uploaded as free online courses in the “AI BiteClass”, available for public learning via the HKPC Academy website or the Government’s “iAM Smart” App.
