HKPC Launches New “Career Launchpad” Empowering Fresh Graduates with AI and Boost Future Workplace Competitiveness

(Hong Kong, 5 August 2026) —As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to reshape industries and redefine future workplace expectations, the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) remains dedicated to nurturing next-generation talent. To help 2026 graduates seize emerging opportunities in the AI era, HKPC has launched the "Career Launchpad", a new Graduate Career Acceleration Programme. Spanning 3 months, Career Launchpad adopts an innovative development framework to help young talent cultivate essential workplace competencies, adapt swiftly to a fast-evolving job market, and inject new momentum into Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology (I&T) sector.

With the rapid adoption of AI and digital technologies, employer expectations have expanded beyond traditional technical knowledge. Today’s job market demands a well-rounded skill set, including AI application capability, innovative thinking, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and continuous learning. With "AI Empowerment" at its core, Career Launchpad equips graduates with a strong, multi-dimensional foundation to stand out in an AI-driven economy.

Career Launchpad combines practical workplace exposure, targeted AI skill building, and personalised mentorship to offer a comprehensive learning-and-practice journey, featuring:
