HKPC Leads I&T Enterprises to VivaTech 2026 in Paris Driving Hong Kong Innovative Technology onto the European Stage and Opening a New Chapter in Global Collaboration

(Hong Kong, 8 June 2026) — Viva Technology (VivaTech) 2026 in Paris, Europe’s largest startup and technology event, will be held from 17 to 20 June. The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) will lead four top Hong Kong innovation and technology (I&T) enterprises to participate in the “Hong Kong Tech Pavilion” organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), in partnership with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels as a Strategic Partner. HKPC will showcase cutting-edge technologies in emerging and future industries, including low-altitude economy, advanced manufacturing, and green technologies. As one of the supporting organisations of the “Hong Kong Tech Pavilion”, HKPC will collaborate with other partners to promote the development of Hong Kong’s I&T ecosystem and expand into the European market.

HKPC actively aligns with the National “15th Five-Year Plan” and the HKSAR Government’s policy direction, supporting Chinese Mainland enterprises in going global through Hong Kong. As a core member of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government’s GoGlobal Task Force, HKPC provides enterprises “Six Tactics to Go Global” through its “The Cradle – Go Global Service Centre,” delivering comprehensive services – spanning smart manufacturing, international standards and testing services, as well as technology R&D and evaluation. At VivaTech 2026 in Paris, HKPC will leverage Hong Kong’s strategic position as a “two-way springboard”, supporting both Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong enterprises entre the European and global markets; while also enabling European and international enterprises to access the Chinese Mainland market through Hong Kong.

By leading Hong Kong I&T enterprises to participate in VivaTech 2026 in Paris, we aim not only to showcase Hong Kong’s robust innovative technology strengths to the world, but also to demonstrate Hong Kong’s unique position as a bridge connecting the Chinese Mainland and the global markets. Through Hong Kong as a platform, we can support both Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong enterprises tap into European and international markets, while attracting more overseas enterprises to entre the Chinese Mainland market through Hong Kong, achieving mutually beneficial cross-regional collaboration.”

Mr Yonghai DU, Chief Innovation Officer of HKPC, will attend VivaTech 2026 in Paris and share insights at the Hong Kong Seminar-cum-Networking Reception, themed “Building Resilient Tech Ecosystems: Powering the Next Wave of International Tech Leadership from Hong Kong,” organised by the HKTDC.

HKPC will lead four I&T enterprises to go global, showcasing Hong Kong's achievements in the I&T sector:

  • Harmony SkyTech Limited: Specialising in advanced unmanned systems, software and hardware solutions, the company has accumulated over 100 proprietary intellectual property rights. Harmony SkyTech and HKPC are jointly conducting technology R&D initiatives and industry application transformation projects to accelerate the company’s expansion into overseas markets and elevate its international brand influence.
  • Asgard Group Limited: A premier smart electric vehicle charging brand providing highly interoperable, data-driven smart charging solutions. Asgard is collaborating with HKPC to actively expand into European and Southeast Asian markets, accelerating the global deployment of smart infrastructure.
  • Laputa Eco-Construction Material Company Ltd: An innovative enterprise leading in sustainable construction technology, specialising in carbon capture and utilisation technologies. Laputa and HKPC have jointly developed innovative technologies to provide carbon reduction and circular economy solutions for the construction industry, while actively expanding into overseas markets to accelerate the internationalisation of its green building technology.
  • Oriental Materials Hong Kong Limited:Positioned within the advanced manufacturing sector, the company focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of semiconductor equipment and components. HKPC will draw on its technical expertise to support Oriental Materials Hong Kong in implementing a semiconductor front-end equipment production line in Hong Kong, helping the company “go global” and achieve internationalised development through Hong Kong.
     

All government, industry, academia, and research sector representatives are welcome to visit the HKPC booth to explore its latest R&D achievements and collaboration opportunities with Hong Kong I&T enterprises.
