HKPC Implements Special Arrangement with Training Programmes and Seminars to be Conducted Online

(Hong Kong, 22 March 2020) In view of the COVID-19 pandemic persisting, the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) will implement special work arrangements again from 23 to 29 March 2020. HKPC Building will maintain basic operations during the period. All HKPC staff, except those with critical functions, can choose to work from home. All projects, services and daily operation will remain normal and continue as usual. Members of the public can still contact HKPC staff by telephone or email.

During the period, training programmes or events to be held in HKPC Building will be conducted through HKPC Live online platform remotely, or will be postponed. Meanwhile, rentals for all HKPC venues, HKPC Academy and Inno Space will be suspended. For related inquiries, please call 2788 5923 / 2788 6342 or email to academy@hkpc.org for assistance.

HKPC has earlier launched a series of special relief measures to support local SMEs and startups, including free information on remote working; the recently-announced 50 per cent off the list price of labour portion for R&D and consultancy services (excluding consultancy services under government funding schemes), testing services and HKPC venue charge; and the “Buy-3, Get-1-free” offer for all corporate training courses. HKPC hopes such relief measures can join hands with its partners in the industry to overcome the challenges brought by various external factors. For more details about the special relief measures, please call 2788 5555 or email to service@hkpc.org or visit HKPC website.
