(Hong Kong, 25 March, 2025) The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is set to debut with a dedicated pavilion at Hannover Messe 2025 (Hannover Messe), one of the world’s largest industrial trade fairs, taking place from 31 March to 4 April. HKPC will showcase the impressive achievements of Hong Kong's technological applications to industry leaders, businesses, and investors from around the globe, raising the profile of Hong Kong’s tech scene and strengthening its position as an international innovation and technology hub.
The theme of this year’s Hannover Messe is “Shaping the Future with Technology,” and will bring together exhibitors and industry experts from around the world to exchange insights and showcase the latest industrial technologies, fostering collaboration between industry peers. For its debut at Hannover Messe, HKPC will showcase a selection of groundbreaking research and development achievements, highlighting Hong Kong’s strengths and potential in innovation and technology on the global stage and helping local industries to go global and connect with international markets.
Hon Sunny TAN, Chairman of Hong Kong Productivity Council said, “HKPC is committed to pioneering advanced technologies in fields such as industrial IoT, artificial intelligence, future manufacturing, and green technology, and transforming them into innovative solutions that enable businesses to enhance efficiency, strengthen competitiveness, and go global. The Hannover Messe is yet another example of Hong Kong’s technological applications going global. We will continue to assist Hong Kong and mainland enterprises in expanding into international markets, promoting the development of future industries, and contributing to long-term, high-quality economic growth."
Helping Hong Kong’s cutting-edge technologies to achieve success on the international stage
HKPC helps businesses in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to unlock new opportunities by aligning with China's national development strategy. HKPC will showcase the following industrial technologies at Hannover Messe:
In addition, from 31 March to 3 April, HKPC will hold a series of seminars at its pavilion, covering a range of topics including how future manufacturing can leverage AI, the industrial metaverse, and other cutting-edge technologies to boost efficiency, as well as HKPC’s initiatives to promote the development and application of renewable energy, sharing valuable insights with attendees from around the world.
Besides, a dedicated European study mission in partnership with the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce will bring delegates from the Hong Kong business community to explore new innovative technologies and connect with business leaders from Germany and other countries at the HKPC pavilion. The Hong Kong Metals Manufacturers Association, will showcase industry specific technological applications and share knowledge with visitors.

The HKPC pavilion at Hannover Messe (located at Stand no. J52 in Hall 14) will showcase Hong Kong's outstanding achievements in technology applications to industry experts, companies and investors from across the globe.
Display at the HKPC pavilion – a Smart Autonomous EV Charging Robot, which won a gold medal at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, as well as a series of innovative materials designed for advanced manufacturing technologies.
Visitors to the HKPC pavilion will be able to view StationInspector, a 3D point cloud enhanced AI visual detection robot for potential ceiling and fixtures hazardous of metro station.
