HKPC's LogTech Expo 2025 Leads the Logistics Industry towards High-quality Development with Innovation and Technology Over 60 Exhibitors Including JD Logistics Technology, SHOPLINE, and Hongkong Post Showcase Advanced Logistics Technology and Applications

(12 September 2025, Hong Kong) Amidst global economy restructuring and supply chain transformation, Hong Kong, as an important logistics hub in Asia and a key gateway connecting the Mainland with global trade, is seizing new development opportunities. As Mainland enterprises “go global” through Hong Kong into emerging markets in the Global South and the Belt and Road Initiative, Hong Kong's logistics industry is playing an increasingly crucial role in high-quality transformation. Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) will host the “LogTech Expo 2025” on 19 September, providing a premier platform for showcasing innovative logistics and transportation technologies, and driving the industry’s transformation towards smart and green logistics.

This year’s expo will feature over 60 renowned Mainland and Hong Kong exhibitors. Key exhibitors include Hongkong Post, JD Technology, a subsidiary of the Chinese e-commerce giant JD Group, SF Supply Chain , part of the world’s fourth-largest comprehensive logistics service provider, SHOPLINE, an international e-commerce platform founded in Hong Kong, and Harmony SkyTech, a Mainland drone enterprise headquartered in Hong Kong. The event will showcase a wide range of cutting-edge logistics technologies, along with more than 10 industry seminars and expert sharing sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in face-to-face discussions with industry leaders, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the applications and trends in logistics technology.

Five Key Areas of High-quality Development for the Logistics Industry
The “LogTech Expo 2025”, organised by HKPC and funded under the Transport and Logistics Bureau’s “Logistics Promotion Funding Scheme (LPFS)” within the “Maritime and Aviation Training Fund”. This year, the event will explore five critical areas for high-quality development in Hong Kong’s logistics industry: New Productive Forces, Low Altitude Economy, ESG and sustainability, Transport and Logistics, and Smart Supply Chain Management.

New Productive Forces emphasises on driving industry upgrades through technological innovation, data application, and high-quality talent to drive industrial upgrading, moving beyond traditional models. In conjunction with Low Altitude Economy, which establishes a multi-dimensional logistics through drone technology, overcoming urban space limitations, significantly enhancing delivery efficiency, and reducing costs. ESG and sustainability provide value-oriented transformations for enterprises, encouraging investment in green technologies such as electric vehicles and energy-efficient systems to enhance operation competitiveness. Meanwhile, Smart Supply Chain Management offers a practical path for the logistics industry by integrating technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain, to achieve process intelligence and automation, significantly enhancing supply chain efficiency, controllability, and adaptability, positioning it as a cornerstone in Hong Kong’s evolution into a sustainable, modern and high-value smart logistics hub within Asia.

Exhibitors will showcase and demonstrate their cutting-edge logistics technologies, featuring key solutions such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions from major logistics service providers, smart cargo identification cameras and network infrastructure solutions from Axis Communications, a leading Swedish company in network communications, and the latest drone technologies. These innovations will equip industry professionals with the knowledge to stay ahead of emerging trends and applications in logistics technology.
