MySQL Training on Cost-Saving Open Source Software Applications from HKPC

Local businesses will benefit from more professional training on open source software (OSS) applications offered by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). Appointed by Sun Microsystems, Inc, as the first Authorised Sun Education Centre (ASEC) for MySQL training in Hong Kong, HKPC will provide a full range of MySQL training courses approved by Sun Microsystems in Hong Kong starting from 30 March 2009.

"More companies are now turning to OSS applications for cost-saving solutions under the current economic climate. Through this collaboration with Sun Microsystems, HKPC will step up our support to businesses in OSS adoption," Mr KT Yung, General Manager (IT Industry Development) of HKPC, said.

To be conducted at the HKPC Building, the MySQL Database Administration (MySQL DBA) course will start on 30 March 2009 and the MySQL Developer course will begin on 20 April 2009. These two courses will be run every two months and every three months respectively.
