HKPC Former Chairman Willy LIN Wins the Executive of the Year - Non-Profit Organisation at the Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Awards 2022

(Hong Kong, 8 December 2022) The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is delighted to share that Mr Willy LIN, Former Chairman of HKPC, has won the Executive of the Year - Non-Profit Organisation at the Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Awards 2022. The Awards serve as a staunch endorsement of Mr LIN’s efforts and leadership expertise in driving three key initiatives in HKPC during the recent two financial years that elevated the productivity and competitiveness of Hong Kong industries, namely technology development and application, FutureSkills training, and the implementation of Government funding schemes.

On receiving the accolade, Mr LIN said, “It is a great honour to receive this recognition. I would like to appreciate the 23 HKPC Council members and the management team led by the Executive Director, Mr Mohamed BUTT for their full support and collaboration during my six years of tenure. The resilience shown by the team enables us to strive for excellence and continue to support the Hong Kong SME manufacturers and service industries, whether their goals are to promote reindustrialisation or set up plants locally or globally. Thanks to our strong teamwork, close partnership with industries, pioneering research & development efforts that bloomed into industrial applications and solid corporate governance, HKPC is able to fulfil the mission to serve the SMEs in Hong Kong and support the Government’s policy directions to promote innovation and technology (I&T) as well as to drive Hong Kong’s integration with Greater Bay Area. I am sure that HKPC will scale new heights in its role as the key enabler of I&T in Hong Kong.”
