Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC)’s Green Hall showcases the latest green technologies and innovative solutions, thereby promoting the wide application of relevant technologies in the industry and sustainable development, so as to boost the development of Hong Kong into a world-class smart and green city, while fully supporting the HKSAR Government’s goal in accomplishing low-carbon transformation of Hong Kong economy, realising the vision of "Zero-carbon Emissions‧Liveable City‧Sustainable Development" and achieving carbon neutrality in Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050.
Located on LG1/F of the HKPC Building, Green Hall hosts a range of innovative GreenTech research and development (R&D) and applications by HKPC, its Automotive Platforms and Application Systems R&D Centre (APAS), numerous partners and exhibitors. Among the GreenTech on display are the Food TranSmarter, Smokeless Joss Paper, degradable food packaging and masks, intelligent foam removal robot, electric vehicles (EV) and EV charging technologies, etc. Each closely connected to everyday life, the exhibits are the true reflection of how innovation and technology are helping people move towards carbon neutrality, in the areas of clothing, food, housing and transportation.
Visitors will have an inspiring tour and a deeper understanding about how a GreenTech comes into being, from “ideation” to “innovation”, from “problems” to “green solutions”. Industries and the public are cordially invited to visit Green Hall to explore and experience GreenTech’s unlimited potentials, as well as exchange insights on the latest GreenTech trends.
It takes the concerted efforts of all citizens in order for Hong Kong to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. HKPC has established the goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040 and, through this Green Hall, HKPC hopes to connect and collaborate with all industries to share and promote the best practices in GreenTech.
