HKPC Organizes Free Seminars on Knowledge and Performance Management in PRD

To enhance the productivity and competitiveness of local companies and their Mainland partners, the Hong Kong Productivity Council's (HKPC) Mainland subsidiaries, the Productivity (Shenzhen) Consulting Co., Ltd. (SZWFOE) and the Productivity (Guangzhou) Consulting Co., Ltd. (GZWFOE) will organize free seminars on knowledge and performance management in July 2006.

Free Seminars on Knowledge Management in Shenzhen and Guangzhou (21 & 28 July 2006)

Businessmen and corporate executives in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region will be able to better understand and implement knowledge management (KM) as a productivity enhancement tool by participating in two free seminars organized by the SZWFOE and GZWFOE.

Mr Ge Ming, General Manager of the SZWFOE, said, "To survive and succeed in today's information age, a company must not only create or acquire knowledge to meet impending challenges, but also implement efficient KM to capture, share and deploy knowledge for product and process innovation. In addition, KM can help transform individual knowledge into corporate assets, thus retaining the knowledge even after individual workers leave a company."

The seminar on Customer KM will be held in Shenzhen on 21 July while another one on KM in general will be held in Guangzhou on 28 July.

Free Seminar on Performance Management (25 July 2006)

To help enterprises manage their business performance, the Productivity (Guangzhou) Consulting Co., Ltd. (GZWFOE) will organize a free seminar on performance management in Guangzhou on 25 July 2006.

Mr Alex Sun, General Manager of the GZWFOE, said, "Performance management is important for enterprises striving for continuous improvement and productivity excellence. Through the utilization of performance management systems, companies will be able to analyze performance gaps and map out improvement actions at both individual and corporate levels."
