Call for Best Enterprises in Greater China

Enterprises in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the Mainland can further boost their reputation and competitiveness by taking part in The Best Brand Enterprise Award 2008 (Greater China) jointly organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and China Trademark Association.

Launched in 2006, the Award Scheme aims to recognize the outstanding achievements of enterprises in brand building and management.

At a seminar to kick off the 2008 Award Scheme today (21 February 2008), Dr Stephen Lee, Director (Technology Development) of HKPC and Chairman of the Award Scheme organizing committee, said, "Nowadays, branding plays a critical role in shaping enterprises' competitiveness in the global market. By promoting successful practices and strategies, 'The Best Brand Enterprise Award' sets the benchmark for enterprises in their pursuit of branding excellence."

Entries will be assessed according to a set of criteria covering organizational growth and self-development, corporate strategy and management decision-making system, corporate leadership and corporate culture management, corporate innovation management as well as corporate brand building and management. The winning enterprises will be honoured at an award presentation ceremony to be held on 12 September 2008.

Entry forms are now available from the Award Scheme's website, www.hkpc.org/brandenterprise . The closing date for application is 16 May 2008.
