Hong Kong Enterprise Cyber Security Readiness Index and Privacy Awareness survey

The annual survey in 2023 is commissioned by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong, with the aim to assess the readiness of local enterprises in responding to cyber security threats. With the increasing importance of personal data privacy protection, the thematic survey this year aims to gauge public awareness on topics related to privacy.

Enterprise Digital Payment Landscape Study

The digital payment landscape in Hong Kong has rapidly transformed over the past few years. Notably, the shift towards digital payments and emergence of new payment technologies and platforms have created both new opportunities and new challenges for enterprises. Conducted independently by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and sponsored by Visa, “Enterprise Digital Payment Landscape Study” aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of enterprise payments, identify key trends and emerging opportunities for businesses in this space, and investigate the underlying forces behind such trends.

Carbon Neutrality Progress and Challenges Industry Survey

The HKSAR Government is committed to achieving carbon neutrality before 2050. It has proposed forward-looking and targeted decarbonisation strategies in the “Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050”, and strives to encourage the whole community’s participation, with corporate involvement playing a crucial role in achieving this goal. The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), in collaboration with the School of Energy and Environment of the City University of Hong Kong, surveyed the corporate awareness of carbon neutrality, current carbon reduction efforts and challenges faced by the commercial & industry and building related sectors, including both large corporations/organisations, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Online Survey – Nurturing Our Own Home-Grown STEM Talent 2022

The survey aims to gauge the views of parents and teachers on the current situation and challenges in the implementation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education, explore the resources and policy support for talent development, and analyse the effectiveness and potential of STEM education in the market.

Hong Kong Life and Health Industry Development Study

The Hong Kong Productivity Council and the HK Bio-Med Innotech Association released a research report - The Hong Kong Life and Health Industry Development Study - on the development of Hong Kong’s healthcare industry in December 2022. Offering an overview of the current status of this industry and its characteristics, the study identifies future development opportunities and serves as a reference for the government and industry stakeholders as they formulate strategies to leverage Hong Kong’s strengths and consolidate resources to unleash the life and health industry’s boundless potential.

Standard Chartered Hong Kong SME Leading Business Index

Conducted independently by Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (Standard Chartered Hong Kong), the quarterly survey enables the public and SMEs to gain insights into the forthcoming business climate for better forward planning.

DHL Hong Kong Air Trade Leading Index (DTI)

DHL Hong Kong Air Trade Leading Index ("DTI") is a quarterly survey implemented by the Hong Kong Productivity Council ("HKPC"), and commissioned by DHL Express (Hong Kong) Limited ("DHL"). DTI, the first-of-its-kind in Hong Kong, represents the air trade market outlook for the surveying quarter, in respect of import and (re-)export.

Hong Kong Monetary Authority - Hong Kong Productivity Council: Survey on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)' Credit Conditions

In light of the importance of SMEs to the Hong Kong economy and concerns about potential funding difficulties facing SMEs over the past few years, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has appointed the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) to carry out this quarterly Survey, which can help monitor the development of SMEs' access to bank credit from the demand-side perspective.
