HKPC Welcomes Appointment of New Chairman

(Hong Kong, 24 June 2022) The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) welcomes the announcement made today (24 June) by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government regarding the new Council Chairman of HKPC.

Mr Sunny TAN will succeed Mr Willy LIN as the Chairman of HKPC for a period of 2 years with effect from 6 August, 2022. Mr TAN is no stranger to HKPC. He has been a member of the Council since 2016 and chaired the Staffing Committee in 2017-2021, during which he oversaw the revamp of HKPC’s human resources policies and practices to catch up with the times.

Both of them last worked in the office on 7 February and had worn masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. They were responsible for internal work of the council and had not come into contact with people from outside the council since the Chinese New Year holidays. HKPC had arranged for a professional team to conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of its office at HKPC Building in Kowloon Tong.
