<p>為解決香港迫在眉睫的廚餘問題,由本地餐飲業界發起的「星星相惜」餐飲伙伴計劃(計劃)今日(2018年8月24日)正式啟動,來自八個界別約100間機構參與誓師,從源頭減廢、分類回收、公眾教育等各方面多管齊下,力求減少廚餘產生。啟動禮由香港特別行政區政府環境局局長黃錦星擔任主禮嘉賓。</p>
<p>計劃由香港餐務管理協會、現代管理(飲食)專業協會、香港食品及飲品行業總會、香港餐飲聯業協會和稻苗學會合辦。環境保護署、惜食香港運動及香港生產力促進局(生產力局)擔任協辦機構,生產力局兼任計劃秘書處。</p>
<p>黃錦星表示:「近年在香港堆填區,廚餘約佔都市固體廢物三分一之多,即每天約3,600噸;而來自工商業界包括酒樓食肆、酒店、中央廚房、食品製造及加工業等的廚餘,每天逾1,200噸,即又約佔當中三分一。要應對嚴峻的廚餘挑戰,實有賴餐飲業界的積極互動、創新及協作,從源頭減廢、廚餘回收及惜食文化等各方面多管齊下,力求減少廚餘棄置。我感謝多個餐飲業界組織及機構協力支持,期望計劃有助扭轉工商業界廚餘棄置量的升勢,達至減廢減碳的目標。」</p>

Recently, the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) collaborated with Durian Corporation Company Limited (Durian), a startup platform from Thailand, to fuel the growth of startup ecosystems in both places.</p>
